Pure Thread and Panchachuli ''POSES THE QUESTION''....

Last year Jill did a photo shoot of yoga poses mixed with fashion and asked the question...

What can we create that women would love that would combine the two?

So Jill wrapped a scarf around herself and did her practice with the art of the scarf.

News and photographs from our wonderful eco-stylist and friend Jill Heller
The above image is taken at Jill's studio and shows Kee Edwards, designer and founder of Loup Charmant from New York, posing in our Munsiyari Ivory cashmere stole.

Since launching her new website http://www.thepurethread.com/ Jill has been busy working with new designers ...and visiting London, where we met up at Eco Age last November. You can read all about Jill's news on her blog page at the above website...but in the meantime...here are some great new photos.

Another one of our favourite companies is the Little Sling Company which has the most beautiful and luxurious range of baby slings available on the market today.
The above images are just some of the NZ lambs wool range available but a full range is available in many fabric choices on the website.
All the above items hand woven by Panchachuli Women Weavers.

The end of 2010 saw the launch of the fabulous KOZA website
Koza offer a beautiful range of travel inspired accessories with an Indian flavour.
Based on the ancient book of the Mahabharata, the great epic poem of India, this inspired range of bags, stoles and shawls co-ordinate together to produce a stylish and matching set of travel items.
The pashmina shawls and stoles have been woven by the Panchachuli Women Weavers in India to produce an exclusive range for Koza, which double up as travel blankets or accessories when travelling.

beauty and the renewed ethics around protecting our world, her eco - fashion selections reflect a new kind of thought process ---
clothing that is beautiful, that are made in a conscious way, and have long-term value. All of this is part of the story of eco-fashion.
